Douglas R. Pricer is the author of six books and numerous magazine and newspaper articles. He has written for various organizations and publications, including the Orange County Register, the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal, the Marine Corps University Archives, World War Two Magazine, Military History Magazine, and U.S. Naval History Magazine.

Doug is a graduate of Sonoma State University with a BA in history. He makes his home in Huntington Beach, California, with his wife Shelley, their five children, seven grandchildren, two feline divas and one reclusive turtle.
